The Tolbert Report: Princella Smith Earns Support of Local Radio Host Dave Elswick
March 3rdListeners of KARN know that radio talk show host Dave Elswick makes no secret that he is a conservative. However, he usually stays neutral in primary battles. But today he was impressed enough with one candidate in his own Congressional District to lend her his support.
“Since I’m from the 1st District (Cabot) I want the best to represent me in Congress,” Elswick tells the Tolbert Report. “Princella Smith may be young but she knows the issues, knows how the Hill works and will stand for strong conservative principles. She has my vote in the primary and if she wins there I will support her and help her in the general election.”
Elswick said he is making this endorsement because it is his own district and wants to see a strong conservative elected to represent him. He told me that he did not have any issues with Rick Crawford, Smith’s Republican opponent, but was very impressed with Smith. He said he does not anticipate making any other endorsements at this time.
